Passion

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog where today I’d like to talk about passion, sense I believe it’s one of the most important qualities we posses as human beings. What kinds of passions we have and how passionate we are, among other things, is what differentiates different people from each other and what differentiates all people from animals (even though human beings are in fact a type of animal).

What is passion?

Passion is a really strong and barely controllable emotion.

“by Oxford languages”

Passion can have multiple definitions depending on the context. Passion can be that feeling you have when you love something so strongly that you’re ready to do anything to do/have/achieve it. Passion can be an interest you have that you feel more strongly towards than other interests (graphic design is my passion). If someone has strong opinions or a strong interest in their hobbies you say that they’re passionate. If someone did something in a very strong and emphatic way, showcasing deep and powerful emotions, you say they did that thing passionate (Rosa Parks defended her rights passionately).

What am I passionate about?

I’m passionate about the profession I want to dedicate my life to, the country I want to live in, the people around me, and most importantly the person I’ve been striving to become since the 11th year of my life. And yes, I am ready to do whatever it takes to achieve these things.

Examples of what you might be passionate about:

  • Your interests
  • Your family
  • Your country
  • Better living condition
  • Your friends
  • The profession you want or are doing right now
  • Communism
  • Your pet
There are many things in this world worth being passionate about and finding the thing that’s right for you is another path to finding yourself and leading a purposeful life. So if you truly are passionate about typical teenage things like your family, pets or communism, then developing those interests further will ensure that later in life you will have more of a sense of who you are and what you want to fight for. Now, of course, some of these interests might fade but some of them will stick. The key is to never give up and always be honest about what you’re passionate about in the moment so that you can continue to develop that passion.

What you need to know before you start focusing on what you’re passionate about:

It won’t be easy to do/have/achieve the thing you’re passionate about.

Your passions are at war with all the negativity and obstacles that are trying to stop them. That’s why your passion needs your help to win.

There will always be people who will support you.

But there will also always be people who will try to demotivate you. And this should never stop you!
